The joint's a jumpin...people coming and going, the bride to be making beautiful necklaces and earrings for her ladies and herself. They just picked up the marriage license today...Bethany's mom, Anne, is going to marry them, and they went up to the church to look around, and such. June is baking one ham after another for the reception, and I took a ham bone, and I am making split pea soup for dinner tonight. Bonnie, who is Cam's mother (Cam is the groom to be)is a Charleston artist, and gave both June and Anne paintings she had done. What a great gift. They were over last night for dinner.

We had a rain storm yesterday that must have put down three inches of rain in less than 15 minutes. In fact, it happened twice, and I understand there were gorgeous rainbows everywhere. We couldn't see them. But I knew they were there. Rain was much needed and I know the farmers were happy. I know in the midwest "rain" has become a swear word.

Cam's parents are making a "low country boil" tomorrow night here in the back yard. This will be the rehearsal dinner. I have no idea what a "low country boil" is, but I am looking forward to it.

Got my hair cut about twenty minutes ago, and as I am writing this, just got off the phone with Siobhan.

It is time for me to check on my ham bone, and get the soup souping!!! Great smells in this house!

Adieu, adios, mahalo!

I love you.
Sally
